This painting is a lovely blend of warm colors ranging from gold undertones to dark orange-black.  It represents what I love so much about transparent acrylics--the blending of colors and some granulation of the pigments.

When I looked at the finished piece, I immediately thought "ancient city in the desert".  There are many places that fit that description.
