This piece represents Spring of 2020--corona virus time, civil unrest time, personal unrest time..... The newspaper stories are all from one day's Chronicle.  They range from virus data, alarm at the rising numbers, hope of a new drug to try, the death of George Floyd, the death of a deputy sheriff...along with collaged bits from papers I had painted, representing oases of green spaces, creeks, beaches, red rocks--all places to recover for a while.
